Regional Special Events

During the year the Region stage functions and events that are open for all members to benefit and enjoy, subsidised to some extent by surpluses gained via our regional THS’s.

Region 50th Birthday Meet and THS


 Our 50th Birthday Meet will be at Brecon Showground between 23rd May to 27th May 2024.

There are lots of things planned from 70's fancy dress, line dancing lessons, inflatables, climbing wall, tombola, raffle, dog show, the list keeps growing! Music from This River, Funkiton22 and Mickey Page.

All this for a fixed cost of £50 per unit (2 adults and children) for the 4 nights.

Additional adults, who must camp within a member's unit: 

  • if non-member - £3.50 Temporary Membership plus nightly charge of £5 per adult.
  • if member just the nightly fee per adult. 
  • If you wish to camp near your friends, you will need to arrive together.

Own sanitation essential, NO EHU.

If you are enjoying yourself too much to go home, you can stay on your pitch as we have a follow on Temporary Holiday Site running through until 2nd June. THS cost £12 pun.

Brecon is a beautiful market town, you can enjoy the canal - either hire a canal boat or walk/cycle the path, visit the Royal Welsh Regimental Museum, Brecon Cathedral or the Theatre.  For the more energetic, there are many walks and one of the most famous is up to Pen Y Fan.

Seminars


Seminars are a bi-annual events and cover all aspects of club operations.


In addition, we run workshops for specific roles within the committee on the morning of our Regional Council meetings as required.

The Chairpersons Dinner


Held annually, as a social occasion open to all members and a time to put on your glad rags and enjoy an evening with friends. Camping is available at Blackmore Camping and Caravanning Club site.


The 2025 annual dinner will be held on 18 January 2025 at Worcester Golf Club., details to follow.

The NEC Trip


The Region hope to organise the annual trip to NEC Birmingham for the October Caravan & Motorhome Show 2024. More information will follow nearer the time.
